Variants @Oberes Belvedere, Vienna

The Upper Belvedere Lounge invites visitors to pause for a while in a tranquil, relaxed place. Developed by Sascha Reichstein specifically for this space, the design is based on the modular system Variants, which the artist devised in 2019, and comprises wall and seating elements composed of isosceles triangles. It uses the atmospheric, tactile, and noise-reducing properties of textiles to create harmonious and appealing spaces. Reichstein's color scheme was inspired by a work from the collection - Gustav Klimt's portrait of Johanna Staude ((1917/18)
