The title Piece Goods derives from the term for textile piece goods or samples for yard goods.
Piece Goods is an investigation into the visual, cultural as well as optical and haptic readability of a textile and photographic surface. What is the relationship between the textile and the
photographic medium? What kind of narratives are associated by a specific pattern, its use and those about what is visible within a photograph?
